Chandmani Shandil is visiting Prakrutipali village under Gurusang panchayat in Barkot block of Deogarh district of Odisha where a Paudi Bhuiyan tribal Laxmidhar tells her in his Odia language that there is no handpump in their village and people are forced to drink dirty water from ponds and wells and sometimes a stream and often fall ill.
