Dantewada : No NREGA payment from 6 months!

Zila Panchayat members of Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh have alleged that in two blocks Chhindgarh and Sukma of the district 35,000 workers have not got any MGNREGA wages in last 6 months and the amount of due is more than Rs 2.5 crore. The members said this is a Naxal affected area and workers take a lot of risk for working but when they went to meet CO to complain about it, he refused to meet them.
