Lost land to dam giving water to Rourkela steel plant in 58, no compensation...

Rabi Pradhan is visiting Mandira dam affected people in Jharbeda in Sundargarh district in Odisha.The dam was built in 1958 to supply water to Rourkela steel plant. An old man tells him in Sadri language that many of them were not given any compensation. Some have got house but they got no papers for the land. Now also they live in very difficulty.They have 12 hand pumps 7 are not working. You are requested to call local officer at 9437022770 to help. Rabi@8763540049
