NMDC destroys oldest living plants on earth, no punitive action

Yashwant Ramteke from Dantewada in Chhattisgarh says in the forest near National Mineral Development Mines some Tree ferns are found which are said to be more than 250 million years old. These are the oldest living plants on earth and this is the only location in Central India where they are found. These plants are in restricted area but NMDC had put pipelines there to fetch water which has killed hundreds of ferns. Instead of taking punitive action against NMDC forest officials have only written to them to remove the pipelines! For more please contact Yashwant ji at 09424278552
