HD Gandhi from Swasthya Swara says apart from genetic reasons other cause of Diabetes is our modern lifestyle. He suggests priority should be given to green vegetables & seasonal fruits.Do not take complete food at a time.You should divide your calorie intake in 3-4 equal parts.Do not take much oily food as they are the main cause of uncontrolled diabetes and also responsible for weight gain.Instead of frying preference should be given to steamed & roasted food, he suggests.
