Govt delaying Gram Sabha to help Vedanta, alleges Niyamgiri villagers...

Giridhari Patra from Niyamgiri Suraksha Samiti in Kalahandi Odisha is telling us that people from Niyamgiri hills did a meeting and have shown displeasure on Govt delaying proposed Gram Sabhas to decide whether Vedanta be allowed mining in Niyamgiri hills. They also want the Gram Sabha to take place in 112 villages and not in 12 villages. They allege that Govt is delaying the process to help Vedanta. For more Patra Ji can be reached at 9853303500
