Pahari Korwa tribals in Surguja vows to restart traditional shifting cultivation

Omprakash Baghel is telling us that Pahadi Korwa tribals of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh has taken a decision to restart their traditional Bewar (Jhoom) cultivation. The tradition had stopped but in a recent meeting they have collected old seeds and learnt the process from Pahadi Korwas in Raigarh. And Govt says there are no Pahadi Korwas in Raigarh district.
