Out of 55 Baiga families only 20 got some land under Forest Rights Act here

Naresh Bunkar is telling us that yday I visited a village Sarsoha of Baiga traibals in Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh near Achanakmar Tiger reserve. Out of 55 only 20 have got 2 or 3 acre of land under Forest Rights Act. Rest have got nothing. There are more than 50 children but no anganvadi or school. They got last work in NREGA a year back.
