Forest dept breaks houses of Baiga adivasis living on forest land from 15 yrs

Naresh Bunkar is calling from Kawardha district in Chhattisgarh to tell that yesterday in Bijadhap near Bhoramdev sanctuary forest department officials destroyed around 15 houses of Baiga adivasis. The adivasis were living and farming on land from more than 15 years. They have also threatened to arrest if they do not leave. People are frightened though it is a violation of forest rights act.
