Raju Kumar from Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us about a school where no classes have taken place in last 8 years but the teacher is getting regular payment. The money for mid day meal, stipend for students, school building and other developments have also been spent. This school is situated in Chipni village in Jugiadih gram panchayat in Pratapan block. He says this is similar story in many such schools in remote areas where parents and panchayat are not active.
