Forest dept gets adivasis arrested for protesting uprooting their standing crop...

My name is Alok Shukla. I am from Raipur in Chhattisgarh. I want to tell you abou an incident from Kukdur village in Pandaria block in Kawardha district. Forest dept few days back had destroyed standing crop of adivasis there to plant trees. Today after a notice when the adivasis tried to take the trees to Govt land they were arrested. This action is against the law as these adivasis were working on that land from 2001. You are requested to speak to authorities to stop this illegal act.
