Raju Kumar from Chatra district of Jharkhand says I had heard a report on Swara by Aparna Marandi that many rich people are having Below Poverty Level cards whereas many poor do not have BPL cards. When I checked in my area I found that more then 25% people who have BPL cards are Govt employees and the people who are working as bonded laboreres in those houses have not got BPL cards. A report to officials do not help.Once people do not have BPL cards they can not avail many Govt schemes which are meant for poor. There is a need to start a campaign to rectify this.
