Half working in NREGA do not have job card or bank account!

Raju Rana from Nawada village of Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us that some work under NREGA is going on in his village where half the workers do not have any job card or account in the post office/bank where according to law the money should be deposited. Not only this quite a few children below the age of 18 are working. The officials are giving Rs 100 to men and Rs 80 to women as wages and this is continuing in quite a few villages in this block which needs investigation. For more Raju can be reached at 09835235929
