Post Salwa Judum Adivasis still walk 80kms to get ration...
Afzal Khan from Bhopalpatnam in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh says after the start of Salwa Judum in 2005 Maoists had broken Govt buildings and Govt had moved ration shops for subsidized food to Bhopalpatnam town and people from Sandra area are traveling 80 kms to get their food since. This way a 2 rs kg rice costs Rs 22 while it reaches the adivasi.
