No borewell in school, children forced to drink dirty water from pond nearby...
Rakesh Rai in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh is visiting a school in Chirai village of Bagicha block.He speaks to students and teachers there who tell him that there is no handpump in their school and children are forced to drink dirty water from a small pond nearby. District Hazaribagh is telling us that his tribal majority village is in a remote area and militant affected area. The village has a school and a public place to sit only due to 13th Finance Commission. The village is underdeveloped even after the 66 years of independence.There are 108 homes in the village and it has around 1100-1200 population but there is only two hand pumps which are not working these days. There is a grave water problem in the area, the women of the village waste time in fetching water from distant places. PDS dealer runs the shop in his village and we do not get our ration, Pls help
