My name is Sangeeta. I am calling from Jaba block in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. We have just finished visiting 200 villages in a month long cycle yatra with Land Rights movement. In this Yatra I found that old are not getting Old age pension. Whoever is getting gets after 8/9 months. Some adivasis have got land deeds on 2001 but influential people have got possession of land. Radhu Rai from Dhanbad in Jharkhand is telling us about a regional rural festival called Brat Khoota which is celebrated side by side national festivals like Durga Puja.
