Agitataion planned against illegal land acquisition for Coal mines in Chhattisgarh

Upper caste people harass adivasis for taking drinking water in MP village...
Ramkailash Kol with Land Rights cycle rally in Jaba block of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh has reached Ramgadhwa village where an adivasi woman Surajkali tells him that there is no handpump in the adivasi part of the village and they are forced to go to the part of the village where upper caste people live. Maruti workers agitation continues, 500 retrenched from work, 100 arrested...
Kaladas Daharia and colleagues from Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha have come to show solidarity with agitating Maruti Suzuki workers in Manesar in Haryana. He says according to workers another 100 workers have been arrested by police and company has laid off 500 workers and is employing people from outside. 100 workers were arrested before. After no rain for weeks now heavy untimely rain harming farmers in Jharkhand
Raju Kumar from Chatra district of Jharkhand says few weeks back I had reported that the standing crop of paddy was suffering due to no rain and now once some crop has been harvested the untimely heavy rain is harning the harvested paddy. The cost of vegetables have also gone down due to this untimely rain and have also stopped the work of vegetable farmers who need to do special arrangements in their farms. Farmers running pillar to post to get Govt compensation from months, Pls help...
My name is Subhendu Panda. I am calling from Bodem block of Nayapada district of Odisha. Last year we had a bad weather and Govt has decided to compensate the farmer in the tune of Rs 3000 per hectare. The money has arrived in the office more than 3 months back. When we go to enquire they say that they have sent the money to bank but when we go to bank they say no money has come. How long will farmers be harassed this way? he asks.
