After their application it has come to the panchayat for clarification but the sarpanch has taken a stand that unless Baiga families share the above land with other villagers they not give their permission which is against the law and authorities should look into to help the Baiga families. My name is Nirmal Gorana. I am an activist of Bandhua Mukti Morcha. We work for release of bonded labors. We are hearing that there are thousands of bonded laborers from Chhattisgarh in Jammu and Kashmir but Chhattisgarh govt is showing no interest for their release. We got 35 Chhattisgarhi bonded laborers from Rajouri district released but J&K govt did not give them release certificate. Govt of CG did not put any pressure. We got 29 people released from Haryana and the Govt gave them certificate but CG govt has not rehabilitated them and they are on verge of becoming bonded again.
