Himanshu Kumar is reading the second part of letter sent by Adivasi journalist Lingaram Kodopi who is languishing in Jagdalpur jail on charges of helping Maoists. In this part he says he was half fed in the Dantewada jail where he was kept for 4 months. Not only him but all were badly treated and if any one protested they were beaten up. Complaints to judges do not work. They always take the side of authorities. Media and judiciary in this country is not helping the adivasis, he says. Alexander Cherian from Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh says Govt has done a deal with Indira Gandhi National Open University for training of school teachers but IGNOU has not given results from 2006. The officials do not respond to complaints from teachers who are running from pillar to post. Govt has spend lots of money for this training and they are also not bothered though they have announced 2012 as the year of improvement of quality in education.
