Mohammad Anwar from Dhanbad in Jharkhand is telling story of a RTI activist Ashok Bhuiyan who applied for some information to expose corruption in Anganwadis. The officer invited him to his office and misbehaved with him. Mr Bhuiyan has filed a police case against the officer and now the officer has also filed a case against the RTI activist. When they did not get work in 15 days according to law they applied for compensation on 1st March. The government bus service is being privatised. Here Praful speaks of the experience of a health worker who was stranded without any way to reach the patient to the hospital. After waiting from morning to evening, she had to return home,hire a private vehicle to take the patient.
The situation is very bad at this time because this is the marriage season, and the private bus operators have hired out their buses to higher bidders. There is no control over them at all.
