Handpump in adivasi areas not working for many months
Brijesh Kumar from Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh says handpump in the dalit-adivasi part of their village is not working from last 4 months. They have given written complaint to officials quite a few times but there is no action. There is a handpump near a upper class landed person who does not allow dalits and adivasis to take water from there and the poor people are forced to fetch water from far. Buses on marriage duty, people suffer on Chhattisgarh roads

Impact: Swara report helps close liquor shop in village
