Ramkumar Yadav a child from Usri village in Narshingpur district in Madhya Pradesh says the sarpanch of his village is always drunk and he never calls a gram Sabha. Municipality sweepers have not been paid from 3 months...

Bhagirath Verma from Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha is interviewing a municipality sweeper Saraswati who tells him that she has not been paid her salary from last 3 months. NREGA : Worked in 2009, No payment yet, No one listens

Tejlal from Surguja district of Chhattisgarh says that they worked on a road construction work under NREGA in 2009-10 but no payment have been made so far for the 4 km long road. When they go to Sarpanch she says the payment will come. When we go to post office they say it has already been paid. We have also complained to higher officials at the block office but no one helps. Teak smuggling continues unabated despite Naxal warning
