Kaladas Daharia from Chhattisgarh Sharab Virodhi manch is reporting on their recently concluded month long anti liquor rally which had started from Raipur on 2nd Oct. He says all the development in the state is going waste in buying liquor and democracy is more or less captured by the liquor. Women are the worst affected. Men beat them after drinking, even police beat people after drinking or demand money for drinking. He says for saving our democracy we need to campaign for stopping liquor trade

जब इतना सीधा है रब से मिलना
तो इंसान दूरी क्यों सहता है
तो आओ हम गरीबों की सूरत में उस खुदा से मिल आएं

सोचो कहां तक सही है किसी गरीब, असहाय और मज़बूर से कतराकर
हमारा मंदिर मस्जिद जाना
दर्जनों को ठुकराकर पत्थरों के सामने सिर झुकाना
आओ हम इंसान होने का सबूत उस ईश्वर को दे आएं
आओ इस दीवाली को हम कुछ इस तरह से मनाएं

SP Tudu from Jharkhand is sending happy diwali message to everyone on this festival of lights but he says that he also wants to tell about his state Jharkhand which produces lots of electricity but in many villages like his they are forced to have only an oil lamp for light. He says Bokaro has a big steel factory but his house has utensils made of soil. These are the contradictions of modern Jharkhand which is a rich state but where half the population live below poverty line
