Rachna and Nayani are telling us from Gujarat about Kisan Swaraj Yatra which has started on 2nd October from Sabarmati Ashram. They say the message they want to pass on : किसान स्वराज यात्रा का संदेश, अपना बीज अपना देश ( Message of Kisan Swaraj Yatra: Our seeds, our nation). This Yatra will pass through 20 states in the country and would like to tell the farmers about bio farming. It will tell the farmers not to do chemical and bio technological farming. It harms us and our land. Today farmers are not saving their seeds and this way we will loose our independence in the hands of big companies. The yatra will culminate in a meeting in Rajghat in Delhi on 11th December

Bhan Sahu is reporting about a meeting of Chhattisgarh Mahila Manch where they discussed the issues on situation of women in society. They discussed the problem women are facing with drunken husbands. They discussed the situation of women panch and sarpanch in Panchayati Raj system. They talked about women’s education and various laws to protect women’s rights. They all agreed that they need to get together to fight for their rights

दो वक्त की रोटी, तन ढकने के लिए कपडा
और एक छोटा सा घर चाहते हैं
श्रमिक के दम पर बना है ये शहर, ये गांव, ये पूरा देश
उस श्रम का हम अपना हक चाहते हैं

Anil Chaturvedi from Jabalpur is reporting that more villages have joined in the Jeene Ka Adhikar abhiyan in their meeting on 2nd October where more people from 10 villages have taken oath to not abuse women and children and not to use children for fetching gutka and cigarette. They have also agreed to contribute food for the organization building.
