सविता विकास खण्ड-तमनार, जिला- रायगढ, (छत्तीसगढ़) से बता रही हैं कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस पर १०००० महिलाओं को आज सम्मानित किया गया. कार्यक्रम शुरुआत से पहले महिलाओं द्वारा हाथ में लाठी लेकर रैली निकाली गई और ऐलान किया गया कि सरकार सुनले आज कि जो जमीने महिलाओं के नाम है वह एक इंच भर किसी भी खदान या कम्पनी वालो को नही देंगे, इसके बाद ग्राम सभा के माध्यम से ५,वी अनुसूची पैसा कानून के तहत अपनी ग्राम पंचायतो में गैर कृषि कार्य के लिए किसी को भी अनुमति नही देंगे, मौजूद महिला सरपंच जानकी राठिया ने कहा कि महिलाओं को अपनी शक्ति पहचानते हुए ग्राम सभा और ग्राम पंचायत की शक्ति को जोड़कर आगे आना होगा. सविता@7587163174

She says these 5 barrages have been made to give water to industry and after the flood there is no sign of relief. People are suffering due to lack of food, water, toilet and medicine. Savita Rath is calling from Dharmajaigarh in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh where locals are protesting against a Govt order giving land to Vedanta/Balco for a coal mine. People say this is a 5th schedule area and Govt can’t take any land without permission of Gram Sabha which has rejected the offer.
