Sunil Verma is visiting Vajirganj area in Gaya district in Bihar where people are celebrating death anniversary of Parvat Purush Dashrath Manji, who had made a road by cutting a hill single handedly after working for 22 years to make a road of 60 feet length, 34 feet wide and 24 feet height. Gramsabha conducted defying insurgent threat, Wont give land for mining...

Villagers getting united to snatch forest rights from Corporate-Govt combine

Company want land for mining: Govt filing criminal cases to harass villagers

Sunil Verma from Ranchi is telling story of village Jala in Latehar district which has applied for Community Rights on 456 hectare of land in 2011 according to Forest Rights Act. Insurgents allegedly stopping community forest right to help mining companies

Sunil Verma from Ranchi is telling us that today in village Jala gram panchayat Semegada of Balumath block in Latehar district of Jharkhand when people tried to pass a resolution for community right on forest land under Forest Rights Act they were stopped by an armed group Tritiya Prastuti Committee.
