Rajesh Yadav from Uttar Pradesh is visiting some villages in Hubli district of Karnataka with some students as part of a study tour and talking to his fellow students who tell him that many here who they interviewed do not know much about Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act and its intricacies. Rajesh Yadav is calling from Laltapur village in tehsil Chakia, Post Majgahin thana Naugarh in Chandauli district in UP and says they had 6 handpumps in their village but all were broken. They were appealing officers from long but nothing moved. Then they recorded a message on CGnet Swara and Block Development Officer visited the village thereafter and all the handpumps have now got repaired and they are able to drink clean water.
