Roopchand Dakhme from Ghati village in Kurkheda block of Gadchiroli district says in their village they have got Community Forest right of half the area they had demanded but even after that forest department tried to cut 1000 trees and have cut many. The village protested collectively and said under PESA act forest dept can not cut tree without Gram Sabha permission. He deamnds these forest officials should be punished. Roopchand Dakhme from Gram Arogya organisation in Ghati village of Kurkheda taluka of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra is telling that Govt is closing down schools in villages which has less than 20 students. He says there is a village Kosi nearby where Govt is closing down school. There are many such villages.People want education in their village and it is their right under right to education.
