This is their 2nd year celebration in row. Everyone participated in this celebration happily. Many villagers also took part in the celebration which was historic. Naxals killed in Narayanpur were allegedly murdered in cold blood by police
Pramod Potai from Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh is telling us on 30th April police had claimed to kill 2 Naxals in Chhote Dongar police station area who were also real brothers. But family members of the killed with thousands of locals have protested the claim and say both brothers were called to the police station that day and were killed in cold blood by police. Gondi Literary summit demands inclusion in 8th schedule
Pramod Potai from Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh says that in 16th National Gondi literary conference which took place in Baitul Madhya Pradesh between 24th and 26th Dec the Gondi scholars from all over the country demaned that the language should be included in the 8th schedule of the constitution to make it a national language. Gondi message : Villgers rally demanding PDS in Abujhmaad
Pramod Potai from Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh is telling us about a protest demonstration by hundreds of adivasis of Abujhmad area who were demanding proper distribution of subsidized ration. Govt has restricted PDS distribution only from police stations in the area and people need to walk 40-50 kms to buy their subsidized ration. People of Bastar have reconsiled to regular Maoist bandh calls
Pramod Potai from Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh says once again Moaists have announced a bandh on 21-22nd May and have burnt a truck carrying stones for road construction in Narayanpur -Orchha road in Abujhmad. He says there is an atmosphere of terror here but it seems people of Bastar have accepted this destiny. These bandhs associated with Maoists fight for a government of their choice creates lots of problem for common people
