Pavan has reached village Loshanga in Lakhanpur block of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh with CGnet People’s Journalism Awareness Tour where they performed street play with the help of puppet to show how villagers can become Journalists by using their mobile phones where he met Rakesh Tirkey who tells him that in their part of village there are no handpumps so they need to walk a kilometer to get water. Today Shilpi and Pavan are helping us listen to songs and reports from Balaghat district in Madhya Pradesh in this latest edition of Bluetooth radio program in Hindi. Villagers use their mobile phones to record these songs and reports. They call 08050068000 to record. Now this program can be downloaded by people from their Gram Panchayat office if it has Broadband or from a download centre nearby. They can also get it from someone with smartphone and internet and then via bluetooth.

My husband died last year since then I am working here as coolie. I am from Murkoni village in Abhanpur tehsil of Raipur district in Chhattisgarh say Rajkumari in a conversation with Pavan at Raipur railway station. We work here from 9 to 5. Pavan is reporting live from a rally by people of Bhopal to pay tribute to who died dueto Bhopal Gas tragedy on 3rd December 1984 and show solidarity with the ongoing struggle to demand decent compensation for sufferers and cleaning up of the Union Carbide premises. The marchers say it is shameful that Govt is standing for the company and have not been able to give full compensation to victims after 30 long years.
