Villagers take oath not to use abusive language against women

Electricity officials charging money for free connection

Pannalal Singrore from Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh is reporting that MP government has announced that each village will have electricity and each poor family will be given free electricity connection. State government has also got support from Rajiv Gandhi rural electrification project but in Mandla district officials are illegally collecting Rs 500 from each poor family to give them connection.

Women get together to install solar power in a village

Pannalal Singore is reporting from Jangalia village in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh where in a gram sabha meeting on 2nd October women have got together to arrange a Durga puja for the first time on their own and they will also collect Rs 500 from each family to install solar power in the village
