Meera from Narmada Bachao Andolan is telling about hundreds surrounding Collector office in Alirajpur in MP where 40 oustees from Jobat dam are sill in jail who were arrested 4 days back. Administration suggested to apply for bail which people refused demanding unconditional release. They have decided to intensify their agitation if farmers are not released soon. Meera from Narmada Bachao Andolan is informing that police today arrested displaced farmers from Jobat dam who were farming on Govt land from 2 years. Govt has not given displaced people land after submerging and as a last option they had occupied and many officials have visited and know about this.
