Kamal is calling from Saranda area in West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand where villagers tell him that under Saranda Action Plan adivasis were given benefit of Indira Awas Yojna in 2012 to build their houses. They were given Rs 24,000 each to build the walls of the houses. But since they are waiting for second instalment to complete their houses. Kamal Purty from Pandrasali village of Khutpani block in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand is talking to an adivasi farmer Gangram Purty who tells him that paddy is harvested but they are not able to sell. If they go to market then they do not get a good rate and are cheated. If they go to Govt society they tell them that there is no order from above to buy the paddy from farmers.
