We found shops open and called up the officials but they were not keen to take any actions. Kaladas Daharia from Chhatisgarh Mukti Morcha says 11 of us went to Delhi to show our support to struggling workers of Maruti Suzuki plant in Manesar in Haryana near Delhi. 500 workers have lost their jobs and mor than 150 are behind bars. We went to show solidarity to their struggle and say that we are fighting the same war. We were told in a nearby factory more than 1200 workers were laid off. Kaladas Daharia and colleagues from Chhattisgarh Mukti Morcha have come to show solidarity with agitating Maruti Suzuki workers in Manesar in Haryana. He says according to workers another 100 workers have been arrested by police and company has laid off 500 workers and is employing people from outside. 100 workers were arrested before.
