My name is Jaya Dhruv. I am calling from Bastar in Chhattisgarh to tell you that here the Govt has not been able to appoint the officer in charge for Anganvadis ( Intergrated Child development scheme) in last 2 years. That is causing huge problem for young children. The Anganwadi workers have not got their wages from last 4 months and their work is getting affected. They are getting demoralised. Please help. Jaya Dhruv from Jamgaon in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh says that in her village no health worker has been appointed for last 3 years even after repeated requests from the panchayat. For the same reason no immunisation is taking place. The nearest health center is 14 kms away and there are no facilities for going to hospital and the resident adivasis are suffering.
