Govt built dam spending 3.5 crore, not working from 3 years, farmers suffering...

Hari Singh Sidar is calling from Lanjoda village of Kondagaon district in Chhattisgarh and says Govt built a stop dam at the cost of Rs 3.5 crore for irrigation in the village but that is not working from 3 years. The dam used to help 240 adivasi farmers irrigate more than 2000 acres. Big farmers have individual bore wells but all small farmers are suffering. March in Bastar to understand villagers views to resolve problem of violence...

Hari Singh Sidar from Lanjora village in Kondagaon district in Chhattisgarh is telling us about a march of Journalists and social activists. The march will start on 26th January from Orchha in Abujhmarh area and will culminate on 30th January in Bijapur after covering 150 kms. 78 people have confirmed their participation.
