Officials demanding bribe of Rs 1000 for PDS ration card in Chhattisgarh

Chandra Pratap Singh from Navrachna Samaj Sevi Sanstha in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh is visiting a village in Gourela block where he meets Mata Singh who tells him that Sarpanch and other officials in his village are demanding Rs 1000 or more each to give ration cards for subsidized food under Public Distribution Service. No action on complaints about irregularities in NREGA
