Village official asking bribe of Rs 3,000 for widow pension, Pls call officers...

Baiju Prajapati is calling from Salgi village post Jabra in Simaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand. He says 28 widows had applied for widow pension in 2011 in his village but none of them have got the same. Village secretary is demanding Rs 3000 each for including their names in the list. All wells will dry if it does not rain in 10 days, Handpumps broken, No repair...

Baiju Prajapati is calling from Salgi village of Jirwakhurd panchayat in Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand. He says if it does not rain in 10 days all their wells will dry. They have a hand pump which gives water for few hours. There is a hand pump in school but that is waiting for repair. Children are going to a well. All ponds are dry and animals are suffering. Diarrhea has killed one, One in hospital, But village hospital has no doctor...

Baiju Prajapati from Salgi village in Jilwa Khurd panchayat in Semaria block of Chatra district says people are suffering from diarrhea in the village. One person has died while taking to hospital, one is in district hospital but people are forced to go to quacks. Hospital was built 2 years ago in my village but the lock there is yet to open!

Baiju Prajapati from Giraudpuri village in Simaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand says that a Primary health center was built in their village at the cost of Rs 10 lakhs 2 years ago but the administration has not been able to open the locks of the hospital so far.
