Arun Minj from Deoghar village in Sitapur block of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh is talking to laborers who worked in NREGA for digging a well. The laborers tell him that they worked for 40 days but have been paid for a week’s work only. One of the women tells him that though she fell sick while working but no payment have been made on her request. He is telling us about a new Government scheme called Fulwari for Pahari Korwa primitive tribe mothers and children.In this new scheme Govt will spend Rs 6 per child per day and Rs 15 per day on pregnant women.
