We have no electricity, have hand pumps but don't work, get water from far...

Nathulal Rathod is calling from Dhamedi village in Pushprajgarh block of Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh. Patti Maravi, a villager from that village tells him that there is no electricity in their village for as long as 50 years now. Hand pumps were installed but don’t function. In their Dumatola mohalla about 35 families are forced to live in the dark. Also they fetch water from 1 kilometer distance.
