Pramod Chandel from Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh says the farmers who are giving land to power companies are getting lots of money but the companies are cheating farmers who gave land for transmission lines. Many have not got any money including me who was offered Rs 60,000 six months back when they used my half acre land but I am yet to get any money.
