Adivasi women stop govt survey team by force in Jharkhand

Subhash Gayali from Jharkhand is telling us about an incident today in Noamundi area of West Singhbhum district where village women stopped a govt survey team. The women asked the survey team whether they have permission to do survey from the Gram Sabha. When the survey team could not answer satisfactorily the team was physically stopped by the women’s team. Women said this is a 5th schedule area and no work can be done without permission from Gram Sabha. The survey team has filed a police case. For more Subhash ji can be reached at 092639622
