NREGA: Workers have not been paid for over a year now...
Sachdev Gupta from Mainpat block of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh says there was a NREGA work in his area which completed three months back but workers have not got any wages. They are running from pillar to post and are getting only empty assurances. He says there are other cases of non payment where people worked in NREGA and but are yet to be paid for over a year now.
