NREGA : Wages not paid from May 2010 in Rajnandgaon

Bhan Sahu is reporting from Atra village in Rajnandgaon where she speaks to a farmer Bir Singh Malekar who says we worked in NREGA in the month of May June last year and we have not been paid yet. We also did a hunger strike but the officials gave us a false promise. Thanks to non payment many from my village have migrated. Another batch is migrating this week. This is not only the story of my village. It is the story of whole panchayat and entire district. He also says it is said that the wage is Rs 100 but we get less after various deduction.
