Forest dept uprooted 5000 fruit bearing saplings planted by Adivasis in MP...

Rajendra Gadwal from Betul district in MP is telling us that today in Sarni forest range adivasis were trying to plant fruit bearing saplings but forest dept uprooted 5000 of them by force. 6 adivasis were injured in beatings by forest dept and adivasi were not allowed to move for 4 hours and were released only in evening. Adivasis are planting fruit bearing trees looking at their future but forest dept is adamant in destroying that plan. For more Rajendra Ji is at 9424471101
