Heavy rain destroyed paddy crop in Dantewada, Adivasis looking for help...

Mangal Kunjam from Kirandul village in Dantewada district, Chhattisgarh, is telling us in Gondi about the heavy damage that excessive rains have wrought to the paddy crop. Rains also damaged the houses. Mangal says farmers who have incurred the damage have kept the Patwari and Panchayat Secretary informed but no adivasi has got any support from the Govt yet which they need very badly.
