Rajasthan: Influential people burn shops, beat up dalit but no police action!

My name is Chhataram. I am speaking from village Ratei village in Barmer district of Rajasthan. Today I want to tell you the story of my friend Hemaram. On 19th July his shop was burnt by some influnetial lower caste people. Half a dozen more shops were also burnt. A police case was filed next day. On 25th when Hemaram went to fill water the same people broke his vessel and beat him up with abusive languages abou his dalit caste.
