SPO harassing Panchayat officer, No enquiry on complaint

Panchayat Secretary Uday Bhaskar from village Gumudi in Janpad Panchayat Konta of Sukma district in Chhattisgarh says that some months back a programme was organised at Chintalnar during the CM’s visit. On his way back from the Government program he was accosted by Shankar, an SPO. In an inebriated state he questioned and threatened him and the Panchayat inspector Shri Mishra. Shankar said that the two were distributing money to the Naxals, and cursed the CM and senior officers. Uday Bhaskar reported to collector Sukma, but as no inquiry was conducted, Shankar is again threatening him on duty. He says he will finish off Uday Bhaskar on one of his field trips when he is alone.Here Uday appeals to the government to conduct an enquiry as he is under severe mental pressure. He says that he is afraid and will resign from his job if no inquiry. Uday Bhaskar may be reached at 8959025647
