The Gram Sabha in village Gharpur, Block Udaipur District Sarguja had rejected the proposed coal mines. Yet some action is taking place by local Revenue Inspector. When the villagers reached the spot the RI said that this is in line with the order of the Collector. People have given a memorandum to the Tehsildar, which was not received well. People have prevented the work from progressing as they suspect foul play. They want to know who is the final decision taker, the administration or the people.
