Cancellation of public hearing first victory of anti Nuclear Power plant people
Rahul Srivastava is talking to us from Chutka in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh. A public hearing was supposed to take place here on 24th about proposed Nuclear power plant which people were protesting because they were not given information in Hindi. देरी ना हो मजदूरी में समय पर पूरा दाम मिले !!

We have 58 handpumps, 40 not working, None working in Dalit, Adivasi area
Buddhilal Yadav from village Jantahai in Jaba block of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh tells us that 58 handpumps were dug in his village out of which 40 are not functioning. None of the handpumps in the part where dalits and adivasis are living are functioning. Repeated requests have not helped. First handpump was installed in my village 6 months back, Now it is broken
My name is Jitendra Tiwari. I am calling from Farenda village in Patthargatta block in Chatra district of Jharkhand. First time in the history of this village a handpump was installed in our village 6 months before but that is now broken and we are forced to drink dirty water from nearby streams.
